Hunting 2010

So I decided to be a good wife and go with Ben Pheasnut hunting. We went out to Clarkston and had lots of fun! We went throught several fields and couldn't find anything. Ben kepted asking me if I wanted to go be his "dog" and go in the tree's but I declined that offer! :) We got into the truck to go down the road a few miles to a different area when I spoted one in the field! Ben got out of his truck and shot it! When we got back into the truck I said," Well I guess I am your dog!" He didn't even see it cause it kinda blended in the field anyway!

Yellowstone Trip 2010

Ben's dad and his brother Jon go fishing every year to Yellowstone. This year we went in Sept....I will inform you next year fishing trip will be June..I can't talk Ben into going during July or Aug so we will see. It rained the good portion of our time. Ben, me, Jon, Brittany, Jacob and his dad went. We stopped at Bear Tooth BBQ which I highly recommend going if you are ever in Yellowstone. On our way there Jon tells me that Brittany has to show me this sign that she very much dislikes. That sign says Dangerous Waters....I got a little scared cause I don't know how to swim really...I dont. We had some problems with the boat but soon got to campsite. There were this deer and her 3 fawns who didnt leave our campsite like ever it seemed like. We saw a bunch of Basin, Elk, and we did hear wolves throught the night. We had a overall good time considering it was really cold, windy and rainy. We came home a day early just because it was to cold and it snowed but didnt stick. Jacob was a trooper. He didnt want to leave along with his Grandpa but they lost the battle. We then went to stop at Old Faithful and sure enough the sun comes out and gets a little warmer but not much. I caught a bite but it got away. Ben caught 2. Jon and Brittany caught 3 each and Rod caught 8 which I guess he always out cathes everyone else. HAHAHA. Hopefully next year we will have a better fishin!!

Three Little Guys Are Up To Something!

I want to make a post about my 3 nephews because I miss all the time and I am so blesed to be there Aunt! I wish we could afford it this year to visit them for Christmas but we can't. I know i saw them for like 2 1/2 weeks during June but that was not long enough. I am very excited for Greg and Shalet having another boy in November which I can't wait tell they have a girl!! Leslie is due in Febuary but we won't know what it is yet so for right now its name is peanut! (thats whay Chris calls it untill we know what gender it is. Anyway back to the little guys. Nolan is the youngest. He is just so content with whatever mostly being near his parents at all times but he does like to play in the water and with his toys!!

then there is Lucas... He is just growing up so fast and soon before we know it he will be taller than his Aunt Julie! He is just so outgoing, mischievous and always wants to go fishing! He says the funnest things which i think he is the family clown without Uncle Al around! He loves animals! He also likes to play in the mud at Grandma and Grandpa Godfrey's. I also hear he is such a good helper while Dad is gone to work. Lucas is just at the age where he wants to be adventureous!!

then we have Daxton. He just started Kindergarten and loves it!! He is the pranker though while his Dad is gone. He so smart and asks the most smart question that i think, " Gad when I was that age I ddint even think about that!" Don't get me wrong but the others are smart too they just are not old enough to understand on that kind of level. Daxton is funny to. He is at the age where he just wants to know all the answers so when his little brothers want to learn he can answer them just like the big brother should!

I couldn't be more blessed and proud of these 3 Little boys who are just the highlight of my life besides my great husband!! I found this pitcure which i hope he doens't get mad I am posting it! He is just my rock and I love him more than life itself. He is just such a great example to me. I am so glad that I found him and that i am his wife!!

ThIs YeAr So FaR

This year has been full of suprises!! Ben and I couldn't be more happier and just love married life! We have done lots of fun thing this year! (Wait for the updated post) Ben has been my rock this year! He is just such amazing husband and best friend and I am the luckiest girl in the world! He has helped me realize that certain things shall pass and life gets better and better if you take it one day at time which is very hard for a stubborn not really patient Godfrey if you know what i mean. I lost my Grandpa Verl on May 31, 2010 and it was hard mostly just hoping that my Grandma would make it and not struggle being alone. He taught me and siblings a lot. He was just so humble and loved by so many and sad to say it but i wish i would have slept over one last time even though i am 24. He worked hard and paid for everything not using a credit card. He lived in Clarkston his whole life and him and Grandma loved the farm. I remember when all of us grandchildren would throw rocks in the troph and he would get so mad but loved it at the same time knowing his one or more grandchild was waiting for him in the house. He worked up tell he was about 80 maybe 71 ( I cant remember)He will be missed and I can't wait to see him again along with some of my other family members. Greg graduated in May and my parents went out to visit them! They are expecting another precious boy in Nov! Leslie kepted her promise that she would be announcing her due-date! Which she knew on my wedding day but didn't want to still my thurder! Thanks Leslie! Alan is going so good in Argentina! He loves every second of it! We have lots of upcoming events as well! Ben and I decided that we didn't want to just be the couple that never hangs out with thier friends anymore so we try hard to hang out with our friends every week! A couple of weeks ago Ben and I jumped in the car with Alyssa and Jon to the Tim McGraw Concert! It was awesoeme! Out of the thousands of people we just so happens to sit a few people up from Madelyn and Justin which I wish they could have came sat by us and there family so they could have avoided the couple fighting and the beerthrowing all over Madelyn. Well stay tuned for more updates and pitcures!!
